Have you ever wanted to see what it would be like to be an on-air reporter on broadcast television? Learn what it takes to be a reporter standing in front of major sporting events like an NFL playoff game or MLB spring training to capture the scene for viewers. Or, expand your writing opportunities in politics, when it comes to interviewing governors and Congressional senators. Sharpen your writing and reporting abilities in the health news realm as we all make the post-pandemic world more informed and less bored when doctors and nurses share their insights. Not to mention, craft an understanding of what entertainment news is, how to talk to celebrities, their publicists, and agents about issues that matter both on and off screen. Craft your skills on social media so that your storytelling and the voices of those you have the honor and responsibility to spotlight don't die in an echo chamber or with no views. Whether you want to work in print, television, or audio/radio tap into the advantages and challenges that come from being a multi-skilled journalist, content creator, and storyteller.
