Ready to find a mentor or a mentee within the Northwestern Network? The Northwestern Network Mentorship Program is an online platform designed to cultivate meaningful mentorship opportunities for the global Northwestern community, with alumni mentors providing valuable support and guidance as mentees navigate their careers.

Students and alumni can use the platform to connect with alumni in various career fields. Alumni with degrees from all class years, programs, and schools may participate as volunteer mentors, mentees, or both; degree-seeking students may participate as mentees. Debbie Brin Leon is a Global Human Resources leader at EY (Ernst & Young), a global professional services firm. Debbie has over 15 years of progressive experience in strategic human resources, leading teams and executive leaders in a wide variety of organizations. Her specialties include coaching, leadership development, global HR consulting, talent development, and building highest performing teams. Prior to joining EY, Debbie worked in various HR leadership roles at LaSalle Investment Management (subsidiary of JLL), and Sears Holdings Corporation. Debbie is also an Industry Advisor for students at the Kellogg School of Management, where MBA students can meet one on one with her for mentoring and advice in Human Capital careers, career pivots and transitions, career search and more. Currently at EY Debbie cultivates and builds relationships with Executive Leaders that oversee global teams; she provides strategic advice to these leaders throughout team globalization and transformation from build out stages through maturity. Debbie is a Co-Active Trained Coach through Co-Active Training Institute, and she is currently working on her advanced coach certification to gain credentials with the International Coach Federation. Debbie holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a M.B.A. with concentrations in International Business, HR, and Management and Organizations from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
