We often think about the term “management” in a downward sense: a supervisor managing an employee or a team. However, when you start to think of management as multidirectional you open the opportunity for creating a better rapport with your boss or even your colleagues. This is also useful when you have a manager who is new to their role or is admittedly not great managing others.     Amy Schoeneman
    Senior Training and Leadership Consultant
    Amy is an industry expert in learning and development, training, sales enablement, and commercial education programs in both corporate and non-profit environments. Her specialties include leadership development; performance consulting; coaching and mentoring teams; and assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of learning management.

    Currently a senior training and leadership consultant, she previously worked for Danaher, Vyaire, and Merck.

    Amy earned her BA from Northwestern in 1995 and MA from the University of Chicago in 1996. She holds six additional professional certifications and credentials in her field.

    In addition to presenting for Northwestern Alumni and Career Development, Amy is also a Northwestern University Externship Host (NEXT).
