About
TBA - IRS CE/CTEC/NASBA CPE*

AI is here to stay, but using it effectively can still be a challenge. A well-crafted prompt is only half the equation: the smartest AI will still return a generic answer if the model doesn't have the client facts, prior work, and firm standards behind it. We'll cover the principles of good prompting, and best practices for assembling the right context around a question so the answer comes back complete, specific, and ready to use.

We'll work through tax-specific scenarios where teams are seeing the most benefit from generative AI with the goal of increasing the accuracy, efficiency, and productivity of your team.
-Understand the fundamental principles of prompt engineering, and recognize where prompting alone hits its ceiling
-Develop effective prompt techniques that transfer to any generative AI tool
-Learn to engineer context: which documents, fact patterns, and firm-specific instructions to supply, and how to structure them
-Build reusable setups so context is assembled once rather than rebuilt with every question
-Identify best practices for maximizing accuracy, completeness, and efficiency
