S. Abbas Shobeiri, MD, MBA is the Vice-Chair of Gynecologic Subspecialties and Professor of OB/GYN, Medical Education, and Bioengineering at INOVA. Dr. Shobeiri obtained his Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington, Medical Degree from TUFTS University, and completed his residency and fellowship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Because of his background and experiences, Dr. Shobeiri was entrusted with establishing a state-of-the-art urogynecology section at the University of Oklahoma in 2002. Dr. Shobeiri is the director of the NAFC designated national center of excellence; continence care at INOVA, ICS, and IUGA research scholar program, a multidisciplinary INOVA-George Mason University Pelvic Floor Investigation Group, "Ultrasound of Pelvic Floor Investigation and Therapeutics" (UPFIT). Dr. Shobeiri has been the recipient of many research and educational awards, including AUGS Best Educational Research award, APGO Excellence in Teaching award, and BJOG best reviewer award. He has received funding from AUGS, ACOG, NICHD, and the industry. Dr. Shobeiri's research interests include new robotic technologies, medical device development, and pelvic floor and ultrasound imaging. He has been a grant reviewer for ACOG, AUGS, and American Federation for Aging Research. He is a manuscript reviewer for multiple journals. He has authored >200 articles in scientific journals and many chapters for textbooks standard to Gynecology, Urogynecology, and medical device development. He is the editor of "Practical Pelvic Floor Ultrasonography" book, now in 2nd edition, and "The Innovation and Evolution of Medical Devices." He has chaired annual workshops at the AUGS, ICS, IUGA, AIUM, and meetings worldwide.

Jittima Manonai holds concurrent positions as President of the Thai Urogynecologists Society (TUGS) and Chief of the Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Division, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand.
After completing her MD at Chiang Mai University, Dr Manonai pursued her residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. She then held several specialist training positions, including Clinical Observer in the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center in San Diego, CA, USA; Visiting Doctor at the Department of Urology at University Hospital Kiel in Kiel, Germany; and International Continence Society (ICS) Research Fellow in the Section of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City, OK, USA.
Dr Manonai has achieved Thai specialty and subspecialty board certifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Reproductive Medicine, and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery. She also holds a Master of Health Management from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
