Did you ever wonder what goes on at the dog grooming salon? Why when your dog gets a bath at the salon it turns out so much better? How do they cut the nails when you can not even touch your dogs paws? These questions and more will be answered in the video on how we bath and prepare your pet for grooming at the salon.
In 2011, after working in the field of Biotechnology for twelve years I fell in love with a toy poodle named Maggie and my passion for dog grooming was revealed. I took a course on dog grooming at the local college and opened deTails Dog Grooming later that year. With more knowledge came an interest to compete, so I started down that path in 2014. In 2017 I completed my Master Groomer with NDGAA and then CPPS here in Canada. For the last three years I have been in the Top 10 for Groom Team Canada. Last year I finished 5th overall. My goal is to make the Groom Team Canada travel team. I teach dog grooming at St Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario as part of the Vet Assistant program and also own and groom at deTails Dog Grooming in Mallorytown, Ontario.
