Meet The Presenters

Barbara Walsted

Sonlight Advisor

Homeschooling was never something Barbara and her husband thought about for their family, but God had other ideas. The private school her oldest was to attend closed unexpectedly just before he entered kindergarten. Barbara attended a homeschool conference and found Sonlight in the sea of curriculum options. Both of her sons used Sonlight from PreK - graduation.
Barbara been a Sonlight Advisor for over 17 years and loves encouraging moms as they begin their homeschool journey!
Judy Wnuk

Marketing Sales Manager

Judy Wnuk is a retired homeschool teacher of three amazing students. She spent 20+ years using literature-based learning with her own children and sharing it with families across the US and Canada through her work with Sonlight. She has a passion for encouraging parents, young and old, as they navigate the journey of raising their children. She and her husband of 36 years have enjoyed the privilege of facilitating marriage and parenting classes, and she likes nothing better than to mentor moms that God brings across her path.
