In this session, we will discuss how to create a summer camp at home that will enrich and refresh you and your children! Laura Booz

Laura loves to learn and share practical encouragement with other homeschooling moms. She lives with her husband and 6 children on a farmette where they sing, raise chickens, host campfire parties, and read books. Laura is a member of the Church, a friend, a writer, and a teacher. Most of her writing focuses on homeschooling, marriage, motherhood, and ministering in the local church. She received a B.S. in Biology and B.A. in English Literature from the University of Richmond, M.A. in English Literature from Penn State University, and Certificate in Women’s Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary. Christie Cook
Sonlight Mentor
Christie first encountered Sonlight Curriculum in 1997 when she was teaching the children of another family overseas. As a former classroom teacher, she was so impressed with the curriculum that in 2009 she made it her choice for educating her four sons. She and her husband have been married for twenty years and have been homeschooling with Sonlight for the past 12. They have utilized Sonlight programs from preschool to high school. Through the years they have enjoyed watching each of their boys develop a variety of interests and strengths based on their unique personalities and their learning with Sonlight. This year they will have two middle schoolers and two high schoolers. Their oldest son will graduate this spring! Christie enjoys meeting and encouraging homeschooling families and helping them find solutions for the homeschool journey!

Judy Wnuk is a retired homeschool teacher of three amazing students. She has spent 20+ years using literature-based learning with her own children and sharing it with families across the US and Canada through her work with Sonlight. She has a passion for encouraging parents, young and old, as they navigate the journey of raising their children. She and her husband of 36 years have enjoyed the privilege of facilitating marriage and parenting classes, and she likes nothing better than to mentor moms that God brings across her path.

Stephanie Rose
Community Manager
Stephanie wears many hats but her favorites are being a mom to two amazing kids and wife to her college sweetheart. She loves to adventure with her family, traveling all over Colorado and beyond. She is an avid afterschooler and volunteers much of her time in her local community. As Sonlight's community manager, she enjoys encouraging and enriching homeschools through conversations, content, and community.
