ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Federal, state, and local government organizations all face stormwater and natural hazard challenges as the climate changes, infrastructure ages, and the population moves. To better predict, model, and respond to these events, GIS professionals and leaders across all levels of government are turning to geospatial data and innovative advancements in AI-based mapping as a source of truth for decision-making.

Public sector groups have turned to Ecopia to support these efforts as they embrace modern solutions to power existing and new workflows. This webinar will highlight the challenges we have seen all of our clients face including data aggregation, incomplete sources of information, outdated input data, and the output format of geospatial data to match the requirements of multiple projects. In addition, Ecopia will present a comprehensive review of funding sources that are key to supporting sustainable data management programs at the state and local levels.

Lastly, this session will highlight an example of how the Texas Department of Transportation is engaging the Austin Center for Water and the Environment to help their team understand the risks associated with stormwater management on a large scale. Topics include streamflow measurement, inundation mapping, asset inventory, and other essential hazard mitigation workflows.
