In the first session of Day 2 we will focus on the technical and quality elements of project bankability. How can project developers ensure technical bankability for their PV project through effective procurement? Where do the key technical risks to bankability occur on PV projects, and what steps are manufacturers and suppliers taking to mitigate these risks? Our expert speakers will provide practical insights on the capex decisions that shape bankability and long-run performance.
The second session will then explore the tangible benefits technology offers solar asset owners looking to streamline their O&M processes — such as web-based continuous monitoring, AI integration, predictive maintenance, and automation. We will also discuss technology as a potential threat, delving into the urgent topic of cybersecurity for solar asset owners and how they can use technology to safeguard their business from external threats. Our panel of experts will talk through best practices for integrating technology, as well as some of the potential issues to be aware of around regulation, security, data quality, and system failures.
