David Peñalva is co-founder and CEO of SolarGrade, an award-winning field operations software, and HelioVolta, a technical field services provider. David’s 15+ year career as a solar and storage engineer inspired him to create SolarGrade as the software solution for fast, accurate renewable fieldwork that generates data for portfolio management and strategic business decisions. Previously, David established the Engineering Services division of Clean Energy Associates and held leadership roles at SunEdison, Hanwha Q CELLS, and Siliken USA. David holds an MS in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València and is a NABCEP-certified PV System Inspector.
