The 2025 AM100 research into the UK's largest car dealer groups will be revealed on Tuesday, November 18.

In the AM100 Webinar Tim Rose, editor of Automotive Management, and James Evans, a director at BDO and member of its motor retail team, which researches dealer group accounts with AM, will reveal the latest performance of the UK’s largest franchised dealer groups.

Despite the challenges of rising costs, franchised network reorganisations and subdued private buyer demand, there are standout performers in the AM100 which demonstrate strategic excellence and industry-leading profitability.

Evans will outline the main trends from this year's research.

After a Q&A with our assembled panellists, the webinar will end with a full countdown of the new AM100 rankings.

Mark has been working in connected vehicle intelligence for the last 14 years, most recently at Tracker Network (UK) Ltd, the UK’s leading stolen vehicle recovery (SVR) specialist and provider of telematics solutions. Mark has been instrumental in delivering a turn-around strategy at Tracker since he joined in August 2019, securing and building relationships with premium OEMs, top automotive retailers and leading UK insurers.

In addition to top line growth, Mark has overseen Tracker’s retention of its exclusive 30-year partnership with UK policing and has driven the continued innovation of Tracker’s proprietary VHF product portfolio. Over the last twenty-five years, including his time at Vodafone and Cable & Wireless, Mark has played pivotal roles in acquiring and integrating businesses, leading sales through indirect partners globally and driving innovative initiatives across market expansion, data monetisation and channel development.

Phill Jones
Chief Operating Officer, Motors
Phill has been with MOTORS since 2010, overseeing the business’s significant growth over the years. He is an active commentator on market trends and insights, working closely with car dealers to help them understand emerging trends. Phill has worked in the business through previous ownership from DMGT plc, Cox Automotive and eBay. He trained as a chartered accountant with Deloitte and has also worked at Ingenious Media and DMGT plc. He is a graduate of Oxford University.

James Evans
Director and member of the Motor Retail team, BDO
James has over 15 years’ industry experience and is a part of the motor retail team for BDO, working in the audit department. In that time, he has worked with a wide variety of dealerships, ranging in turnover from £20 million to more than £3 billion, and from owner-backed businesses through to listed groups.

John Hogan

Dougal Keith
Group Managing Director, D. M. Keith Motor Group
As Managing Director of D.M. Keith Ltd, one of the UK’s largest privately-owned motor retail groups, Dougal leads a network of over 30 franchised sites representing brands including Ford, Kia, BYD, Škoda, SEAT, CUPRA, Suzuki, Honda, Changan and Subaru. Under his leadership, the business has expanded its footprint across the North of England, built strong manufacturer partnerships, and maintained a reputation for family values and customer care.
