About
Employers worldwide are keener than ever to hire people who are skilled in using AI. But what’s the most effective strategy for tapping into this crucial talent pool?

For 82% of executives in the UK, the race to access top AI talent is prompting them to try hiring from a country where their organisation doesn't currently have a base, according to the AI at Work report published by global hiring software provider G-P, in May 2026.

Further, G-P’s research shows that 91% of UK executives are concerned that employees are using unvetted AI tools that put the organisation at risk, and 88% of UK executives are concerned that employees are using AI to ‘perform’ productivity, rather than truly add value for the business.

So how can HR help employers deal with the paradox of employers’ growing desire for AI talent, alongside increasing anxiety about AI?

During our next HR Lunchtime Debate, sponsored by G-P, our expert panel of people leaders will dig into these questions, and more.

The debate will address:
• Current recruiting challenges;
• Best-practice strategies for attracting and hiring AI-savvy talent;
• How to combat AI anxiety, and more.
