For 82% of executives in the UK, the race to access top AI talent is prompting them to try hiring from a country where their organisation doesn't currently have a base, according to the AI at Work report published by global hiring software provider G-P, in May 2026.

Further, G-P’s research shows that 91% of UK executives are concerned that employees are using unvetted AI tools that put the organisation at risk, and 88% of UK executives are concerned that employees are using AI to ‘perform’ productivity, rather than truly add value for the business.
