Laura Lasko has over 17 years of experience working within the Retail Grocery Industry, having held a variety of challenging roles in Store Operations, Financial Services, and Asset Protection. In her current role as Manager of Retail Asset Protection, her team directly supports Wakefern’s retail grocery stores with preventative and compliance-based programs, designed to protect company assets. These responsibilities include planning, designing, coordinating, and implementing Asset Protection policies, procedures, and technology systems for all Wakefern entities. She enjoys the fast-paced environment that Retail Asset Protection offers- with new challenges emerging daily. In the past year, she has been focused on the expanded use of AI technology at SCO and a strategic partnership with Wakefern’s Tech Team to increase awareness on cybersecurity initiatives and to mitigate Wakefern’s exposure to financial fraud. As a leader at Wakefern, she takes great pride in being a trusted, sought after resource for all Asset Protection related subject matters.

Parker Griebel, LPC, LPQ, CFI, is the Asset Protection Assistant Director at Festival Foods, overseeing asset protection operations across 40+ stores in Wisconsin. With over a decade of experience in grocery operations, he leads innovative loss prevention strategies and technology solutions to minimize shrink and enhance safety. Parker holds a B.S. in Criminology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and certifications including Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) and Loss Prevention Certified (LPC). He also serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Organized Retail Crime Association (WIORCA). Passionate about safeguarding assets and developing industry-leading security practices, Parker focuses on driving operational efficiency and fostering a culture of safety within Festival Foods and the broader retail community.
