Day 1 begins with a cross-phase Keynote from Marc Rowland, author of A Practical Guide to the Pupil Premium.
Marc will discuss the lessons he has learned from his work across England, offering practical insights and reflections on whole-school strategies and classroom-level Pupil Premium practice. This will include his recent work to create a Pupil Premium toolkit for schools in Essex and his work with schools in the Oldham and Derby Opportunity Areas to identify good practice and exceptional provision for vulnerable and Pupil Premium learners.
Marc will also talk about the work he has done with the Department for Education to reform Pupil Premium accountability.
