It’s time to charge forward and have Live Events again, but how do we do this safely? Covid Compliance for Live Events presented by Health Education Services is working to help solve this problem. Health Education Services, creators of both the Covid Compliance Officer (CCO) and Pandemic Compliance Advisor (PCA) courses, have realized the need for Live Events to understand Covid Compliance.
This is not a one-size fits all class as there are many different types of live events, event staff, and local regulations pertaining to live events. This class illustrates compliance guidelines and safety practices to broadly speak to Live Events. Health Education Services will offer CDC-based guidelines and practical strategies for how to work at and attend live events safely—from an intimate coffeehouse performance to an experiential event.
This class outlines protocols necessary for venue staff and others to pre-plan for and follow before and during Live Events including health screenings, social distancing parameters, proper PPE use and sanitization regulations. We do speak briefly about touring protocols, but this class is not focused on the music industry specifically.
This class is for Venue Staff, Venue Management, Sports, Festivals, Concerts, Promoters, Security, etc. This class is not specifically tailored to music only events, and speaks to broader event practices.
Class Duration: Approx 2hrs
Participants will receive a course completion certificate attesting to the content provided. In addition, you will receive a link to valuable resources including example screening surveys, relevant articles, safety supply vendors and more. This class was created for all Live Events workers including venue staff, management, touring crews and talent, as well as anyone seeking to learn up-to-date best practices for safely working a Live Event. Covid-19 guidelines are constantly changing and vary by state, city, and locale, so please always consult your local and state health departments, unions, and CDC guidelines before each event. In addition, please be aware that private venues will have their own standards and regulations. This class follows the requirements of the CDC and Los Angeles Dept of Public Health. This class is not endorsed by any outside organization nor can it speak in depth about all types of live events.
