"Integrating" the regular chat window and the Q&A window will be very helpful. E.g. - flag a chat entry as a question *after* the fact - make chat entry thus flagged visually prominent - allow upvoting within the chat window - automatically duplicate the flagged entry & upvote count into the Q&A panel The reason for this is that as an attendee, it's a PITA to flip between the two tabs, particularly since coming back into chat dumps you at the top of the chat (the oldest comments). A smoother experience in the chat window for attendees makes the experience far more engaging, while "integrating" the two tabs makes things smoother for the host.

Hmm. On a different machine yesterday jumping back into Chat dumped me at the top. But not today on this current machine.

Agreed. At a minimum (to avoid a complete redesign), we could benefit from a new action choice on messages to copy the message to the other window... Public or Private Chat to Q&A or Q&A to Public Chat. That way I can let my copresenters see questions mistakenly typed in the wrong place.
