How do I change the "name"? Right now, I'm going to be hosting an "event", but the page says "webinar" and it's confusing the people that I invited to it.

Hi Tina, to change the name, you can customize event type on Edit tab of the webinar. If it's still not custmized please do check on language tab if you chose a customized language on your end.
