Ben Chadwick, P.E.

Cdr., USPHS, Indian Health Service

Cdr. Chadwick currently serves as the District Utility Consultant for the Portland Area Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction (DSFC). Before transferring to the Portland Area, Cdr. Chadwick spent six years as an Engineering Project Manager with the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC), Division of Environmental Health and Engineering, and nine years working as an Environmental Engineer with the IHS, DSFC Program in Manlius, New York and Elko, Nevada. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University, and a Masters of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Washington State and Alaska. Cdr. Chadwick is currently serving on the Engineering Professional Advisory Committee (EPAC) Awards Subcommittee, and previously served as a Junior Officer Advisory Group (JOAG) Voting Member and Co-Chair of the Awards, and Recruitment and Retention Committees as well as the JOAG Liaison to EPAC.
