Hi there! My name is Rose, a New York City native, and I'm a former Senior Assistant Director of Admissions for Hobart and William Smith (HWS) Colleges, a small private liberal arts school in Geneva, New York. I oversaw recruitment in all five boroughs of New York City, the Higher Education Opportunity Program at HWS, and final round selections for POSSE. I have had the awesome opportunity of meeting students from all different backgrounds, hearing their stories, and advocating for them in the application reading and admissions committee process. I also graduated from HWS in 2015, with a Bachelor's in Public Policy. I currently work at a start-up that centers on youth entrepreneurship and I coach students through their post-secondary transition plans. I'm also a graduate student at American University, pursuing my Master's in Education Policy and Leadership (researching education disparities in urban areas). With my knowledge of college admissions and guiding youth to reach their full potential, I'm excited to work with you to help make your college goals a reality! When I'm not advising students, creating curriculum, or writing policy assignments, I enjoy: eating different cuisines, organizing my Pinterest boards for home decor/DIY projects, using YouTube to self-teach a new skill, exploring New York City with my DSLR camera, traveling, and browsing the aisles of Target for fun.
