Founder of Mindful Math Coach

Chrissy Allison is the founder of Mindful Math Coach whose core purpose is to support secondary math educators in providing more equitable learning opportunities for students of color. Since 2016, she's worked to answer the question: How can we support students with unfinished learning in math? A former math teacher, instructional coach, and Director of Math Professional Learning, Chrissy has unique insight and expertise about what it takes to shift teacher practice to improve student learning. As host of The Mindful Math Podcast, she interviews experienced educators (and shares her own lessons learned) to help teachers and coaches in their day-to-day work. A 'coach of coaches,' Chrissy is honored to work with school-based coaches, math specialists, and network leaders as they lead their teams in this important work.
