Bio
Born and raised in the DC Metropolitan Area, Cam Johnson has established himself as a driven innovator determined to make a difference. After excelling as a standout athlete for Gonzaga College High School, Cam attained his Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Virginia while playing professional football for four seasons.
Cam's 7-year NFL career saw him contribute for teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions as an outside linebacker. Now focused on supporting others, Cam serves passionately as an Outreach and Programs Specialist for The Trust, assisting former players in their post-NFL journeys.
Always pursuing new challenges, Cam earned his Master's in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown and completed certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Between his playing days, Cam also gained valuable experience through strategic internships. This included developing policies as an Athletic Director Intern at the University of Maryland and aiding major projects as a Strategic Initiatives Intern at Events DC.
Through his accomplished career thus far, Cam is making a difference on the frontlines and well-positioned to transform industries like sports that he's so passionate about.
