Jennifer Elder has 25 years of experience as a CPA and is currently president of The Sustainable CFO, helping business owners, executives, and CPAs simplify their businesses to operate more efficiently and profitably. She also assists staff accountants and controllers to develop the next generation of skills in order to advance their careers. In addition, she teaches finance at Antioch University New England, and is a contributing writer for TriplePundit and the National Association of Home Builders. Elder started in public accounting, then moved into education as the Accounting Department Chair for McIntosh College, then spent the past 15 years in the private sector as the CFO of companies in manufacturing and distribution, residential construction and development, software development, and venture capital investing.
