Matt Young is a 10 year Veteran of the of the Toronto development industry. Starting his career with Lifetime Developments in 2009, Matt was involved in the development of a portfolio of 11 multi-family and mixed-use projects, and nearly 700,000 square feet of retail, office and hospitality space in downtown Toronto. Following Lifetime, Matt joined Capital Developments to start and lead their development division, and helped build the business into one of the largest mixed-use development firms in Toronto today. Over 7 years, Matt successfully zoned and launched many notable projects, including 155 Redpath, 150 Redpath, Art Shoppe Lofts + Condos, E2 Condominiums, Azura Condominiums, and 11YV. Matt also led the acquisition, design, and rezoning of the 7.3 acre Bloor & Dufferin lands in Toronto.
In 2019, Matt formed his new business called Republic Developments which is focused on developing high rise residential and mixed-use communities around the GTA.
