Steven Dimitriou

Steve is a Managing Partner at Mayflower Advisors with nearly 30 years of industry experience. He was named PLANSPONSOR Retirement Plan Advisor of the Year in 2009, inducted into the PLANADVISER Hall of Fame in 2011, and has been recognized with a number of other industry awards throughout the years, including repeatedly being named to PlanAdviser’s Top 100 List, 401kWire’s 50 Most Influential DC Advisors and the Financial Times Top 401 Advisors. Steve was a member of the founding Board of NAPA and served as its first President-Elect. After serving his term as President of NAPA in 2014, he became President of the American Retirement Association (ARA) in 2019 and still works closely with the organization. Steve was also a founding member of the Retirement Advisory Council (RAC) and has served on numerous advisory boards throughout the industry. He is a graduate of Colby College with a B.A. in both Honors Physics and Economics and, prior to founding Mayflower in 2002, held positions at MFS, Alex. Brown & Sons and H.C. Wainwright in various capacities related to retirement plans.
