Bio
Dr. Sakthi Karunanithi has worked in various local and regional roles across the NHS since 2005. In 2013, Sakthi became the Director of Public Health for Lancashire. He is Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System’s lead officer for population health and prevention. He also chairs the Lancashire and South Cumbria digital health board and leads the personalised care programme.
Sakthi’s quest for excellence in system leadership drives his attention towards active listening and holding multiple perspectives with a passion to achieve best possible health outcomes, engaged workforce and sustainable care models. His special interests include dealing with managing unsolvable problems, group dynamics, applying information technology in health care, and promoting yoga for peace.
