Bryant Gomez is a traveler. This local Angeleno has traveled around the world and domestically across the U.S. His journey from Los Angeles and beyond started when he moved from California to New Mexico when he was 16 years old. A graduate from The University of New Mexico and New Mexico Highlands University with a Master’s in Business Administration, he took his academic and professional experience to work in the private and public sector. This engagement led him to discover ways to connect community support and development with economic success for small and large businesses. On this professional path, he has interned with the Walt Disney Company, was an executive assistant to one of the best dual language charter schools in New Mexico, was Program Coordinator to a federally funded college prep program, and even was an elementary science teacher.
His commitment to the community has grown from his continued passion to engage youth with higher education and developing economic and professional development opportunities in his community. He has worked as an admissions professional at varies R1 universities. Today he is the Associate Director of Admissions at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. His mission is to continue to engage people with higher education with the focus to achieve academic excellence, creative and collective innovation and serve the community.
