Judy Erlandson has more than 25 years of experience in the recycling industry. She is currently the Public Works Manager for the City of Livermore where she oversees the City's franchise agreements and other environmental programs. She is also on the California Resource Recovery Association (CRRA) Board of Directors representing the Northern District.
Prior to working for the City of Livermore, she worked for seven years as the City of San Leandro's Recycling Specialist. She also worked for BFI/Republic Services ensuring compliance with waste acceptance permits for several Bay Area Landfills In addition, as an environmental consultant in the private sector, she managed hazardous materials and hazardous waste programs, and conducted air and water quality monitoring activities for clients such as Intel and the US Military.
She has a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies, both from California State University East Bay. Judy also holds a State of California Adult Teaching Credential.
She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently lives in Livermore, California with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
