Bio
Petr Hlobil is a graduate of the Technical University in Brno. Since 1991 he has worked at NGOs (Children of the Earth, Greenpeace) on energy and climate issues. From 1996 he has been working with CEE Bankwatch Network, currently as Campaigns Director, with a focus on Multilateral Development Banks and EU Funds energy and mining sector investment, well as public participation in decision making. Since 2000 he has been a member of the Board of Partnership Foundation, board of Greenpeace Czechia since 2014, and in years 2010-7 he served in the Board of Climate Network Europe. In the years 2003-4 he was a member of the Advisory Panel to World Bank Extractive Industries Review.
