Mairead originally trained and worked as a nurse (RGN) and has now been working as a Practice Manager for over 20 years.
She manages a busy inner London Practice, is a trained teacher and works for Camden CCG as their Non-Clinical Staff Training Lead.
Recently and in response to the new roles outlined in the GPFV, Mairead designed and delivered training to help develop the role of the non-clinician. Moving the role away from the traditional administrative duties towards a more interesting, responsive and patient focused position within the GP team.
