Dr. Christie K. Redmon Moore is a respected leader in the funeral service industry with over 27 years of experience. She is the CEO of Mansfield Funeral Home & Cremations, serving families throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and beyond. Christie is also the owner of Cremation Specialists of North Texas and has previously co-owned Peaceful Pets DFW. A former embalming and funeral service educator at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, she continues to share her knowledge nationally through speaking and writing.
Christie holds an A.S. in Embalming & Funeral Directing and a Ph.D. in Thanatology & Humanitarian Studies. She has been recognized as the 2024 Quad State Professional of the Year, serves as Vice President of the Independent Funeral Directors Association of Texas (2024–2026), and is the first woman of color to fully own and operate a funeral home and crematory in Tarrant County.
