Bio
Erin joined Portland State in 2011. Originally from Boise, ID, Erin considers herself a Pacific Northwesterner at heart. Her first experience working in college admissions was as a student tour guide at Western Washington University. After completing an interdisciplinary degree in public art education and cultural studies, she realized that working directly with students pursuing higher education was more fulfilling than working behind the scenes at a museum. She continued as a counselor at Western Washington for three years before moving to the Portland area. Erin loves Portland because the city is a unique place and attracts unique people. She earned her Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from PSU in 2018.
