Jo has been a GP in Old Street, London since 1999 and has worked since that time to bring clinical leadership to service integration around the needs of residents.
Jo is Chair of NHS North Central London CCG & brings experience of unifying the five constituencies and its evolving role as strategic commissioner, part of the emerging North Central London ICS. With a particular interest in workforce planning and development, she is Clinical Commissioner representative on the London People Board. As London Region representative on the board of NHS Clinical Commissioners since 2017, she is working as one of a number of senior NHS leaders informing the NHS Confederation ‘Reset’ for the future.
In the context of our Covid-19 response, she has led the response in primary care across NCL, strengthening the interface between services and organisations and as member of the London Clinical Advisory Group, has helped oversee the pathway changes critical to our response for London. She works closely with leaders across London.
Looking beyond Covid-19, to our collective imperative to reduce the impact of climate change for future generations, she is appointed Clinical leadership to drive achievement of Our Greener NHS across London with partners.
