Amélie has an engineer background. She started her career working for the research centre of ENGIE (ex. GDF Suez) on an offshore project of regasification unit. She joined BV M&O in 2011 as a principal surveyor in the statutory section, mainly in charge of Flag requirements. Since 2016, she has managed the department Casualties, Damages & Repairs (CDR). In addition, she has been heading the department Technical Performance & Port State Control (TPP) since 2021.
