Patrick Harrison is Chief Marketing Officer for Visit Tampa Bay. Through an innovative approach to advertising, promotions and public relations he spearheaded Visit Tampa Bay’s first major international campaigns and revamped all domestic marketing. As a result, Visit Tampa Bay has now joined the ranks of Hit Impact Tourism (HIT) Counties in Florida.
His campaigns have been honored with over 30 US and International marketing and PR awards, including multiple Adrian Awards. Before joining Visit Tampa Bay, he spent 25+ years at agencies in Florida and the U.K. working in a multitude of industries, but with a focus of tourism and hospitality. He holds a Master’s Degree in Communications focusing on Propaganda from the University of Leeds as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida.
Patrick currently serves on the board at UFs Eric Freidheim Tourism Institute, Destinations Florida, Destination International’s Global Leadership Committee, US Travel Marketing committee among others.
