Prior to that Mr Weernink held various positions in Cargill International latterly responsible for Cape & Panamax trading activities. Mr Weernink is a Dutch National and studied Industrial Engineering at TU Eindhoven. He holds board seats at a number of companies outside of shipping in the Netherlands and Switzerland.
