Nura Goodson is a wife of Harun Goodson and mother of two boys, Abdur-Razzaq and Abdul-Haqq Goodson. She received her bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Tuskegee University and her Masters in Engineering from the University of Tennesee. She spent over 15 years in the engineering field before deciding to homeschool her children. This gave her the opportunity to discover her passion in running. Nura is the founder and Executive Director of Muslimahs Endure, an non-profit organization that provides a comfortable and safe environment for Muslimahs to pursue an active lifestyle without compromise. She is a health and physical education teacher at Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School. Nura also is a certified USATF level 1 and Road Runners Club of America run coach and race director for the WOW Run 5k. Nura believes that running can change lives for the better, and it is her mission to get her community up and active!!
