Ruth had her stroke in 2016. Prior to that, she was National Head of Careers for a large private university. For many years, Ruth also ran a successful consultancy business. Since her stroke, Ruth has become a committee member of the Coventry Stroke Support Group and to pursue her interests in literature, theatre and travel.
