Bio
Julie is a highly skilled business and technology leader. She has experience in various industries including higher education, financial services, engineering, transportation, and consulting. She engages teams to consistently deliver innovative, strategic solutions to enable the business and achieve organizational goals. She is fully responsible for strategic planning, financial management, talent development, and operational efficiency. She excels at working collaboratively to transform and enhance operations.
Julie is responsible for digital workplace systems, solutions and services that enable the Postal Service’s operations across the nation including voice, video, desktop computing, mobile computing, retail systems operations, and enterprise computing support. Julie is passionate about leveraging technology to transform business operations.
Before joining the Postal Service, Julie served as Deputy State Controller and Chief Information Officer for the NC Office of the State Controller where she was awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine for exceptional public service during her tenure with the State of North Carolina. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from NC State University and is a registered Professional Engineer. She holds certification as a Certified Government Chief Information Officer from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. She is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified and a graduate of the Postal Service’s Executive Leadership program.
