Frédéric Dross

Frédéric Dross received his PhD in semiconductor device physics from Telecom ParisTech, in Paris, France. Frédéric has been working in photovoltaics since 2004 when the cumulative installed PV capacity was more than 200 times smaller than today. Frédéric worked first in cells and modules R&D for imec in Belgium and Hanwha in California. Frédéric then held the positions of Head of Module Testing Business for PVEL/DNV GL and VP Technologies Americas for DSM. Since June 2020, Frédéric is VP of Strategic Development for STS, the global market leader in PV module inspection. Frédéric has authored more than 80 scientific peer-reviewed international papers, 6 technology White Papers, and 8 patents.
