Grant Kondo is VP Membership on the State Board and Vice President & Program Chair for CAPMT Santa Clara Valley Chapter. He is a Royal Conservatory of Music Certified Advanced Teacher in Piano and an evaluator for Music Teacher National Association's e-Festival.
Grant is a regular presenter at conferences and teaches a full piano studio in San Jose, CA. One of his current main initiatives is to highlight diversity and inclusion in music and training Crossover Artists -- those who are equally comfortable with Classical traditions and styles as well as improvisation, playing from lead sheets, and arranging which suit contemporary styles of music.
