Tom founded Eastlake Studio in 1987 and is a licensed architect. In addition to providing a management role on many projects, Tom makes sure that Eastlake achieves a balance between doing great work and having fun. He also provided the inspiration for the first of many Halloween parties, for which Eastlake is now notorious.
Tom has directed Eastlake’s teams on award-winning projects for clients like the Chicago Tribune and Cara as well as most of Eastlake’s projects that have received press coverage. Outside the studio, Tom has served as president of AIA Chicago and Chairman of the River Forest Historic Preservation Commission. He believes giving back is the privilege of success.
