Austin Ashe is the Worldwide Head, AI Solutions, at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he is responsible for building a global community that simplifies build-to-adoption solutions and accelerates both digital transformation and time-to-value for partners and their customers. Austin and his team works across the AWS edge and cloud service portfolio to help companies build and deploy AI, ML, and IoT solutions that differentiate their offerings in the market.
Prior to joining AWS in 2019, Austin was the General Manager of GE’s Smart Cities business unit, where he led a team focused on transforming city and utility organizations into service organizations by leveraging AI/IoT technology. Austin’s near 15yr tenure at GE afforded him multiple leadership roles in sales, product management, and operations across several GE business units, including GE Corporate. Before joining GE, Austin held manufacturing and engineering roles at The Boeing Company, Haliburton Energy Services, Hewlett-Packard (HP), Lynntech’s Fuel Cell division, and NASA.
Austin has an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University.
In his free time, Austin enjoys playing ice hockey, mountain biking, and performing close up magic tricks.
