I am a PhD student at Kingston University, exploring how the concept of nominal value can be applied to people centred services, and how this might change the design and management of those services. As Head of Research at Vanguard Consulting, I have over a decade of experience of researching and writing about systems thinking within different types of organisations. I lecture part-time on a social work post-qualifying credit-bearing short course about the theory and practice of applying the Vanguard Method in various types of public service environments that include health, housing and social work.
