Robert Froeschl
Dr. Robert Froeschl joined CERN in 2007. He started working in the ATLAS experiment and received a PhD in Physics in 2010 for a thesis on the calibration of the electro-magnetic calorimeter of the ATLAS experiment.
He joined the CERN Radiation Protection group in 2010 and is currently the radiation protection physicist for the four LHC Experiments, the Proton Synchrotron and the East Experimental Area.
Dr. Froeschl is the Radiation Safety Officer of the Health, Safety and Environment Unit, the chairperson of the CERN Radiation Safety Officers Committee and an active member of the international FLUKA collaboration.
