Christopher Jarmush is an Area Senior Vice President and Director of Defined Contribution with the Investment & Fiduciary Consulting practice of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Gallagher Fiduciary Advisors, LLC (“Gallagher”). He is responsible for advising the firm’s retainer consulting clients on matters related to investment policy, asset allocation and manager due diligence. He also serves as a member of the firm’s Research Committee and he is the firm’s defined contribution segment leader, developing tailored investment and fiduciary solutions for the firm’s defined contribution plan clients and promoting best practices relating to defined contribution plan design and governance. Prior to joining Gallagher in 2007, Mr. Jarmush worked for one of the nation’s largest asset management organizations, managing a team of senior portfolio analysts supporting manager due diligence, asset allocation and target-date strategy research for the firm’s financial intermediaries and defined contribution plan clients. His background also includes directing the investment products and consulting services division within a leading retirement plan services firm, as well as managing institutional trust portfolios at a national bank and trust organization. He also taught investment concepts for the Mid-West Trust School at Ohio University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from Case Western Reserve University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) Level II Candidate, a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute, a member of the Washington Association of Securities Analysts and a contributing committee member of the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA).
