Bio
Douglas has 25 years of planning and historic preservation experience with an emphasis on local government. He has served as both city planner and preservation planner for several Illinois municipalities and has been a Senior Associate with the Lakota Group since 2019. He has worked on preservation projects for communities across the country providing services including historic resource surveys, preservation plans, design guidelines, and COA design review. Douglas holds a MS in Historic Preservation from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a MCP from the University of Cincinnati, and a BS from Central Michigan University.
