Alex has had a long and varied career with exposure to multiple areas across the insurance value chain. Having carried out various roles at global insurers, Alex has since taken charge of the insurance functions of Tesla, building out their insurance capabilities before getting involved in MGAs in the cyber, home and motor insurance spaces.
Prior to starting Archimedes, Alex spent eighteen years with various insurance carriers (Liberty Mutual, Farmers, Zurich, & Starr) and 3rd party data providers (Lexis Nexis) in a variety of leadership positions in the areas of Distribution, Product Development, Underwriting/Product Management, data management, strategy, system implementation & operations management.
Alex received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and his Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
