Jacob Guinan

Community Outreach Coordinator for the Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma Chapter

Jacob Guinan is Community Outreach Coordinator for the Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma Chapter in Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma. Jacob is originally from Altus, Oklahoma and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University. After college, Jacob worked briefly in Washington D.C. before deciding to return west where he began a service year with the Americorps VISTA program. During this year, he worked with the Alzheimer’s Association’s Montana chapter to expand their reach to veteran families affected by dementia and form a relationship between the Association and the VA health system. In August 2019, Jacob returned to his home state to continue working with the Association. In his current role, he provides education on dementia to caregivers and the general public, conducts physician outreach, and works with other organizations to connect families with services.
